Learn By Doing

When you attend a show, see Park Lane's beautiful jewelry and take advantage of the company's generous customer buying program, you'll see the basic business. When you begin your business, you won't be alone. An experienced Park Lane manager will mentor you. First they will demonstrate the company's proven step by step process for scheduling the show, setting goals with the hostess, preparing a guest list and issuing invitations. Next your mentor will hold the show on your behalf while you have fun with friends in the comfort of your home as your guests try on Park Lane jewelry and learn how to accessorize their clothing for any occasion. You'll see your friends choose jewelry and earn discounts on additional merchandise. And you'll watch your manager process the orders from your introductory show on your behalf, while you earn the commission and jewelry awards. You'll also notice how simple, easy and fun the process is.
After your introductory show, you'll attend two short fun classes, where you'll learn about Park Lane's proven methods of conducting shows, and running a successful business. You'll also hear about current incentives and contests that are designed to help you earn money, merchandise and even travel contests and prizes. You'll leave with a tote filled with everything you need to put on a show -- a table cloth, display rollers filled with jewelry, a ring sizer, a training DVD, various catalogs and other materials to help you place orders. Park Lane calls this bounty the "Business in a Bag". The introductory show and the two training sessions prepare you to launch your first series of parties.
The Apprentice
Now you're ready to introduce your friends -- and their friends, and their friends -- to Jewels by Park Lane. Until you're ready to fly solo, you'll be an "apprentice," working with an experienced manager as a guide.
You can earn while you learn. Training is in bite-sized pieces so you get just what you need at any point. You go through the initial steps of the business, generating income while you learn from someone highly experienced in the business who knows the steps to teach you so you'll succeed.
Training continues at your pace. You can learn how to sponsor other people into Park Lane, which lets you build additional income as they build their business. Your mentor works with you step-by-step so you advance in the business as far and as fast as you want to go. Because your mentor brought you into Park Lane, she earns a commission on your sales, so she is in your corner! Along the way, special programs for guests, hostesses and representatives help you build your business, earn money, win merchandise, and qualify for great prizes and trips. Effort equals earnings, so the more parties you hold and the more people you sponsor, the more rewards you earn.
Supporting Cast
You'll also have the support of the company's easy-to-use online ordering system on Park Lane's password-protected website. In addition, representatives can use the website for more training, downloading forms and keeping up-to-date on sales campaigns and incentives. The Network, a monthly Jewels by Park Lane publication, is also available on the website. And Park Lane's corporate staff is always available when you need them.
