| | "When Arthur and I started the company, we did things the romantic way," Shirley says, remembering how they decided on a name for their new company. "We drove down Lake Shore Drive in Chicago and saw all the parks and lanes that followed the drive, and that's how we chose the name Jewels by Park Lane."

| As a debt free company with more than 50 years of experience in helping people achieve their goals, Jewels by Park Lane intends to carry a legacy of hope and prosperity well into the future. Park Lane's success and longevity enable it to offer more to our representatives now than ever before. "When people hear the details of Park Lane's opportunity, I am often asked how we can afford to offer so much," Scott says. "It's because of our structure; our company is debt-free, family-owned and operated. We don't have subsidiary companies, nor are we accountable to a group of investors, stockholders or board of directors." That freedom enables Park Lane's corporate leaders to make decisions based on the benefit to our representatives. "My father has often said to me, ' When you're making a decision, look at it from the field's perspective,'" Scott says. "We make every decision that way, and I think that's one reason morale is at an all-time high. Our people know we appreciate them, and as a result they feel such a sense of security and a love for this company." It's position as a debt-free company enables Park Lane to give to our representatives above and beyond the standard compensation plan. "Because we don't owe anyone and because we operate from the view point of keeping overhead to a minimum, we can give back more to the field." Scott says. One example of Park Lanes' generosity is seen in the additional bonuses it gives to our representatives. "At our last convention we gave $1,173,000 in cash and prizes to our people, on top of the awards and commissions they earned," he says. The LeVins' feel this philosophy of giving back is recognized by representatives and we are more excited about working our businesses, and helping and encouraging other representatives to succeed. Passion ... for great jewelry, unlimited opportunity and for people ... is the driving force for this growing company. And while young love sparked the creation of this stable, debt-free company, time and experience have developed a business opportunity with a proven system for success. As Park Lane grows, it continues to hold true to it's roots as a family-oriented company with a passion for it's people. "The love and passion we have for our people is unrelenting," Scott says. "It's who we are." And while the naiveté of youth has long since been replaced with the wisdom of experience. Park Lane's leaders still possess the positive spirit that made it's founders' dreams become a reality. Arthur and Shirley LeVins' dream is a solid and attractive opportunity that touches lives with friendship and the potential for financial freedom, and encourages people to build not only a business, but a life. |
